BPS Global Attended the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Construction Robotics Competition 2026" | Showcasing the Innovative Power of Construction Robotics

BPS Global Group and BPS Logistics Technology were honoured to be invited by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) to participate in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Construction Robotics Competition 2026, held yesterday (Sep 29) at the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Sheung Shui Campus.

This major industry event brought together 28 enterprises from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and overseas, displaying 34 advanced construction robots. BPS competed with two flagship products under its distributorship, demonstrating outstanding practical engineering capabilities on site:

• Hangzhou Fulltime Robotics – 3.2m Spray Painting Robot

In the Paint Spraying Competition, tasked with completing complex automated painting across multiple walls, ceilings and wall corners (both internal and external angles) within a strict time limit, the Fulltime Spray Painting Robot delivered exceptional precision and efficiency. It rapidly covered large surfaces with a smooth, uniform finish, earning unanimous acclaim from the judges and audience.

• Hangzhou Deep Robotics – X30 PRO Smart Quadruped Robot

Performing autonomous patrols in a simulated construction site environment, the X30 PRO accurately detected safety violations such as smoking and workers not wearing hard hats. The highlight of the event was its stair-climbing high-level inspection — the Deep Robotics quadruped robot climbed each step with remarkable stability and fluidity to reach the top, drawing enthusiastic applause and demonstrating superior adaptability to complex construction site terrains.

The Interactive Construction Robotics Exhibition held in the afternoon was equally well received, attracting numerous contractors, consultancy firms, government departments and industry stakeholders. Beyond demonstrating live robot operations, we engaged in meaningful exchanges with various sector representatives to explore the breakthrough opportunities that automation brings to the construction industry.
