Electronic Power Assist Trolley
The Intelligent Power-Assist Trolley features intuitive controls, engineered with advanced sensors integrated directly into the handle.
When an operator pushes the trolley, these sensors detect the precise level of force applied. An onboard AI controller then calculates the required torque 100 times per second.
This information is relayed to two powerful motors connected to the wheels, which multiply the torque to provide immediate, seamless power assistance — whether turning left, right, moving forwards, or backwards.
This innovative solution was developed by the Hong Kong Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) and is distributed in Hong Kong by Hong Kong Logistics Technology & System Limited (HKLTS). In recognition of its ground-breaking design, it was awarded a Gold Medal at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva in 2023.
